Manufacturers hail EPA plans to rethink particulate matter regulations

Manufacturing groups applauded the U.S. EPA’s plans to reconsider multiple regulations this week, particularly one they’d challenged in court that was meant to reduce particulate matter emissions from industrial facilities.

 

PGH Works Perspective

If the PM2.5 regulations are not changed, it will put the counties that produce 40% of PA’s GDP in violation of the Clean Air Act, resulting in a drag on our economy with few health benefits.
