Hyundai to build $5.8 billion steel plant in Louisiana, creating 5,500 jobs

DONALDSONVILLE, La. (WVUE) - A $5.8 billion investment by Hyundai Steel Company is coming to Louisiana.

On Thursday, Governor Jeff Landry joined President Donald Trump at the White House to announce that Hyundai has selected Ascension Parish as the site of its first North American steel manufacturing facility.
