Harrisburg leaders passed a state budget with comparably little friction this year, a welcome change following last year’s delays and acrimony. While school funding remained a sticking point between Democrats and Republicans, bipartisan efforts like the Pennsylvania Strategic Investments to Enhance Sites (PA SITES) program passed easily, a hopeful sign for long-term economic development investments in the Commonwealth.
